

About the event
Released and Set Free is a workshop that will educate and empower you to protect yourself and others from the predators of Human sex trafficking. Human sex traffickers prey and exploit innocent victims through social media and in person. Our presenter Heather Pounds Pagan is a survivor from human sex trafficking and travels the country educating and empowering others to eradicate human trafficking, empowering survivors, and equipping individuals to protect themselves, their families, and others. Heather is the author of the book “Beyond the Bars, One woman’s Journey to True Freedom” She is a certified facilitator of the evidence based curriculum called “Ending the Game”. Over the past nine years Heather has worked overseas in red light districts and with refugees as well as having been a keynote speaker for several organizations. She has a passion to see those in bondage “Released and Set Free”, healed and made whole. Her personal testimony and presentation of HT101 and HT 102 will educate, empower and equip you to help others who are suffering from guilt and shame, to identify those trapped and to protect your loved ones from vial predators. Heather resides with her husband Sam Pagan in Columbia South Carolina, were she is employed as the “Survivor Support Director” for
Lighthouse for Life, a human trafficking organization.

*The event is free of charge, an offering will be collected for Light House for Life. Pre-registration is
required to insure each participant will receive a HT 101 and HT 102 workbook.

11:30am - Lunch Break
Food trucks will be in the parking lot. Purchase lunch and join everyone in our fellowship hall and visit with local organizations, agencies, and ministries fighting Human Trafficking.

HT 102- A survivor’s perspective. Effects and Impact. Phycological damage. How to help victims experience freedom from guilt and shame. How to protect your family and loved ones. Final Questions and Answers, Prayer ministry
